Background
I have been a psychotherapist for almost 30 years working in residential facilities, West Pines psychiatric hospital, and 15 years in a group practice, Southwest Counseling Associates in Littleton Colorado. I am currently utilizing a teletherapy platform in private practice. In the past, I have treated children of all ages and families as well as adults. For the last 20 years, I have worked with adults of all ages specializing in women’s issues. I attended undergraduate school at the University of New Mexico and graduate school at Denver Seminary. I have a BA in Psychology and Music and a MA in Professional Counseling. I received my license in the State of Colorado in 1998

Specialties
I work with women wrestling with mood disorders, anxiety, grief and loss, divorce recovery, and life transitions. In addition to these issues, I specialize in working with women who struggle with a trauma history. This trauma can manifest in different forms, including emotional, physical, psychological, sexual, or spiritual abuse. Another area of my expertise is helping women to better cope with chronic illnesses. When things are going well in life, I help women go deeper with personal growth, elevating self-esteem, deepening relationships, and aligning more fully with the person they are meant to be.

Talk therapy
Talk therapy is designated for individuals to process and explore their thoughts. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly.

Intensive therapy
Sometimes sessions need to be longer to explore something deeper. These sessions are usually set up ahead of time as decided together during a previous session.
